  1. In choosing a billing comapny, among the many other things – be sure they can bill for the additional % from Medicare PQRI and e-prescribing. If you can’t get this money by using a billing company, your costs will be that much higher.

    • Yes Jean… once a practice overcomes their old patterns of keeping their A/R in house. They quickly learn why the growing trend is to outsource all or even part of it to a qualified billing agency.     I cannot tell you how many times I have judged the Dr. by the politeness of his/her staff. It is truly frustrating to be dealt with like a widget instead of a patient by an overworked staff. I refuse to see a physician who has a staff that talks to me rudely, is condescending and curt. If a Dr. cannot run his business in an efficient manner, can he be maintaining my health efficiently?
